eLearning 2.0 Initiative Summary

If funding is received, in August 2015 all Logan High School students will receive a laptop to start off our eLearning 2.0 Initiative.  Giving all students a personal learning device will empower educators to embrace and transform learning environments in ways that are consistent with a 21st Century educational goals.  The advancement of one-to-one learning will provide students access to powerful tools, personalizing content and learning experiences in ways that will inspire, engage, and inform them as never before.

One-to-one learning tools are essential to ensure future success beyond the K-12 experience.  With the eLearning 2.0 Initiative, Logan High School will lead out in the implementation of world-class digital learning structures that promote College and Career readiness.  Our goal is for Logan students to learn the diverse skills necessary for them to be leaders in an increasingly diverse and robust global economy.

The recently updated Electronic Device Policy recognizes the need to encourage students to make use of personal technology to enhance their experience with great teachers.  We expect a partnership to grow between students and teachers that will take learning to the next level.
